Flaming Lips Update

Since the Flaming Lips will be heading to Raleigh for Hopscotch Festival, I added that to their Wikipedia page. As an educator I have been told about the ease of providing input, but I never imagined it was that simple. This is a photo from a show Jesse and I enjoyed a few years ago.

When I think of tweet I think about a childhood song, more than I ponder the use of this tool to benefit my kids, any of my families. The gap that separates those who have and those who wish to have, is expansive. Who are the parents that follow tweets? What other avenues do they pursue to be connected and involved in their child’s school? Are there kids, families. communities, that will fail to be able to connect because we select this resource? How many voices will not be heard when this is a pertinent vehicle for articulating educational milestones? Advances are unfolding and the lines that define reality are creating truths we may never be able to appreciate.

This was super easy and I imagine that my students will create some amazing projects using this tool. I think that I will purchase the subscription so my kids will be allowed to unlimited full-length video creations.
